If you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, or low mood at work—or during time off sick—you may be eligible for the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service, funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and delivered by us in partnership with Able Futures
Access to Work Mental Health Support – At a Glance
What is it?
A cost-free, confidential service providing up to nine months of tailored support with a mental health professional.
You do not need a GP referral.
Who is it for?
You may be eligible if you:
Are aged 16 or over
Are in work, off sick, or self-employed
Live in England, Scotland, or Wales
Have a mental health condition that is affecting your ability to work
Are not already receiving mental health support through Access to Work
This includes people working full-time, part-time, on zero-hours contracts, or through apprenticeships.
How does it help?
You’ll receive one-to-one support, guidance on workplace adjustments, and help building coping strategies.
